Terms of Service

By downloading or using AgroLITix you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Parties and Agreement

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legal agreement between:

  • Service Provider: Deividas Jackis, developer and operator of AgroLITix (pagalba@agrolitix.lt).
  • User: any individual or legal entity who downloads, registers for, or uses the AgroLITix app.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. EU users additionally benefit from mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable EU law.

2. Service Description

AgroLITix is a mobile farm management app providing:

  • Field map drawing and management with precise GPS coordinates.
  • AI assistant for agricultural advice in Lithuanian.
  • Cloud document storage (PDFs, photos, contracts, etc.).
  • Seasonal farm plan creation and work calendar.
  • Activity log (planting, fertilising, spraying, etc.).
  • Equipment tracking and inventory control.
  • Employee management.
  • Partner (referral) programme.

The app is currently in beta. Some features may change and a higher rate of minor bugs than a final release is possible. We will notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with your Google account.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information. False data may result in account termination.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. We recommend a strong, unique password.
  • Report any suspicious activity or unauthorised account access immediately to pagalba@agrolitix.lt.
  • Minimum age to use the app: 18 years.

4. Availability and Price

This version of AgroLITix is provided free of charge. The app contains no purchases, paid subscriptions or external payment links. Fair-use and technical limits may apply to individual features and are shown in the app.

If paid functionality is offered in the future, separate prices and terms will be published before activation, using a payment method that complies with the distribution platform's requirements.

5. User Content Policy

You retain all intellectual property rights in data you upload to AgroLITix — field data, documents, photos, notes, etc.

By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

You must not upload:

  • Unlawful content or content infringing third-party rights.
  • Another person's personal data without their consent.
  • Malware, viruses or other harmful code.
  • Content intended to deceive other users or systems.

6. Intellectual Property

The AgroLITix app, its design, code, logo, name and all original content are the property of the service provider and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property law.

You must not:

  • Copy, decompile, modify or distribute the app without written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to obtain the source code.
  • Use the AgroLITix name or logo for commercial purposes without separate written permission.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

7. AI Assistant Limitations

The AgroLITix AI assistant provides informational recommendations based on your field data and general agricultural knowledge. Please note:

  • AI recommendations do not replace the advice of a licensed agronomist, crop protection specialist or other certified professional.
  • Before applying recommended measures (especially crop protection products), always check applicable regulations and product labels.
  • We accept no liability for damage arising from reliance solely on AI assistant recommendations.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99% monthly uptime. During the beta period, unplanned outages are possible — we will communicate via the app or email as quickly as possible.

Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where reasonably practicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" — we make no additional warranties as to fitness for a particular purpose or specific results.

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer protection law.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
  • Loss of farm data due to force majeure.
  • Third-party service interruptions (e.g. internet providers, GPS signal).

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account without prior notice if:

  • These Terms are violated.
  • Fraud, abuse or unlawful activity is detected.

You may delete your account at any time — see Data Deletion.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If no agreement is reached within 30 days:

  • EU consumers may refer the matter to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (vtat.lt) or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
  • Any remaining dispute shall be referred to the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania at the service provider's place of residence.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Users in EU member states additionally benefit from the mandatory protections of their national consumer law.

13. Changes to the Terms

We will notify you of material changes by email and in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. If you disagree, you may delete your account before the effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
